Trump Tower Daredevil Is a Pro-Trump Guy?

Trump Tower Daredevil Is a Pro-Trump Guy?

The 20-year-old man who scaled New York's Trump Tower using only suction cups on Wednesday, only identified at this time as "Steve from Virginia," appears to be a Trump voter. "Steve" posted a message on Facebook before his climb, telling the Republican presidential candidate he wanted to get his attention.

"Hello Mr. Trump. Excuse my matter of appearance, I just don't know how many people will watch this and I'd rather not be recognizable. I'm an independent researcher seeking a private audience with you to discuss an important matter," he said.

Later on, we find out he's a fan of the business mogul.

"I'll get my contact information to your campaign so that if you are interested you can respond," he said. "As for anyone else who's watching, please help make this video go viral so that it gets to Mr. Trump and be sure to get out and vote for Mr. Trump in the 2016 election."

The daredevil's climb ended just as he reached the 21st floor, where NYPD officers grabbed him and brought him inside the building.

It may have been fascinating television, but the Trump campaign was not impressed by the young man's antics, noting that he placed both himself, the authorities, and all the occupants inside the building at risk.

The Republican nominee then tweeted his gratitude toward the NYPD for bringing the incident to a safe conclusion.

I doubt "Steve" will be getting his requested meeting with the candidate.
