Here Are Ways You Can Help Las Vegas Victims

Here are ways people can assist in the aftermath of Sunday night's mass shooting in Las Vegas:

Donate Blood: The Las Vegas sheriff has requested that people donate blood. The universal blood type is O-. Here are places where a person can donate blood in Nevada:

Across the country, people should regularly donate blood if they are eligible to do so as supplies, especially of rarer blood types, can be quite limited. To find a blood drive near you, click here

If you are unable to donate, consider volunteering at a blood drive. 

Donate Money: The official GoFundMe for the victims of the Las Vegas shooting can be found here. The GoFundMe was started by Steve Sisolak, the Clark County Commission Chair. The funds from the GoFundMe will be used to assist the victims and their families of the shooting. 

I'm Steve Sisolak, Clark County Commission Chair from Las Vegas. We are raising funds to assist the victim's of the tragic Las Vegas shooting. I am at Clark County's only level-one trauma center with the victims and their families as we speak.

Funds will be used to provide relief and financial support to the victims and families of the horrific Las Vegas mass shooting.

The Red Cross of Southern Nevada also accepts donations on its website.

To Locate Missing People: Las Vegas has set up a hotline for people to locate their missing friends and family.

Donate Time: The Mandalay Bay Resort put out a call for certified trauma counselors. If this applies to you, and you are willing to help, please use the contact information below.

If anyone needs to speak to a counselor, this is also available. 

Pray: If nothing else, please keep the victims and first responders in your thoughts and prayers.
