After Democratic leaders Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) met with President Donald Trump, they announced on Wednesday night that they had come to a deal: border security will be strengthened, but there will not be a wall. DACA will be made into law.

"We had a very productive meeting at the White House with the President. The discussion focused on DACA. We agreed to enshrine the protections of DACA into law quickly, and to work out a package of border security, excluding the wall, that's acceptable to both sides."

Schumer and Pelosi called the dinner "productive."
