UPDATE: White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders disputes that all parties agreed on excluding the border wall. Sanders says both border security and DACA were discussed at meeting.
After Democratic leaders Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) met with President Donald Trump, they announced on Wednesday night that they had come to a deal: border security will be strengthened, but there will not be a wall. DACA will be made into law.
"We had a very productive meeting at the White House with the President. The discussion focused on DACA. We agreed to enshrine the protections of DACA into law quickly, and to work out a package of border security, excluding the wall, that's acceptable to both sides."
Schumer and Pelosi called the dinner "productive."
