Finance Committee Appproves Price, Mnuchin--With No Dems Present

Rep. Tom Price (R-GA) and Steve Mnuchin have finally been voted out of committee--albeit with zero Democratic members present. The Senate Finance Committee was forced to suspend the rules requiring at least one member of the Democratic Party to be present after the Democratic members announced a boycott of the confirmation votes.

Price was nominated to head HHS, and Mnuchin was tapped to lead the Treasury department.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the pair were passed through unanimously.
