Susan Sarandon: Bernie's My Guy, But I Might Vote Trump Over Hillary

Actress Susan Sarandon is a huge fan of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), and has campaigned with him. However, if Sanders isn't the Democratic nominee, don't expect Sarandon to support Hillary Clinton: in an interview with MSNBC, the actress revealed that she thinks that Clinton is the "status quo" and that she's not 100 percent comfortable with the idea of voting for her. Sarandon even suggested that a Donald Trump presidency could be preferable to a Clinton presidency.

Interesting. Sanders supporters have been an incredibly loyal lot--to their candidate, not to the party. Sarandon is far from the only Sanders supporter to have serious issues with supporting Clinton in the general, and it'll be interesting to see if enough Sanders supporters sit home on Election Day if he's not the nominee.
