Gosnell Movie seeks to tell the story of Kermit Gosnell, a former abortionist in Philadelphia who is currently serving a life sentence after being convicted of three counts of murder. Gosnell, and his clinic workers, regularly "snipped" the spines of late-term infants who were born alive following failed abortions in his facility. He was also convicted of involuntary manslaughter for the death of one of his patients, 41-year-old Nepalese immigrant Karnamaya Mongar.

Despite America's usual fascination with serial killers and other morbid crimes, the lack of major media coverage of the Gosnell trial became a story in and of itself.

The movie seeks to fill the gap left by the media to inform the public about Gosnell's atrocities. There is a planned theatrical release, but no date has been revealed just yet.

Gosnell Movie is produced by Phelim McAleer, Ann McElhinney, and Magdalena Segieda, and is being directed by Nick Searcy.
