Planned Parenthood's Mother's Day Tweet Was Kinda Icky

As we all know, yesterday was Mother's Day. Planned Parenthood, being, well, themselves, decided to take a day that celebrates the joys of motherhood to tweet about how wonderful abortion and the Roe v. Wade decision are for helping women choose when to become mothers.

Naturally, people got upset about the co-opting of the holiday.

...You get the idea.

It's rather mind-boggling (or, I guess, sadly not) that Planned Parenthood decided to use Mother's Day to promote their abortion agenda. If anything, this is bizarre and off-putting, and makes them look absolutely obsessed with the right of a woman to kill her own unborn child. Let's take a look at how some pro-life organizations commemorated Mother's Day:

See? Nothing overly political or preachy.

It's entirely possible to celebrate a holiday without bringing to mind images of aborted fetuses. Planned Parenthood should try it one of these days.
