In 2008, some wonderful soul uploaded a video titled "Hippies-Crying Over Dead Trees" to YouTube. It is glorious. Enjoy.

While this may look like a bad Mad TV sketch, or something from the early days of Monty Python making fun of environmentalists, it appears to be legit. Both Earth First! and Syndee L'ome Grace (who also goes by Syndee L'ome Eartheart) exist.

So here you have it. Hippies, crying, screaming, throwing a tantrum...over dead trees.
