Fool Me Once . . .

In September 2011,he still insisted it was a "top priority" -- despite offering no plan for getting legislation through the Congress.

Now, in the midst of his second presidential campaign -- deja vu all over again! --President Obama is insisting that immigration reform is "something I care deeply about" and pledging to tackle it -- wait for it! -- in the first year of his second term.

The hypocrisy is so rank, and the cynicism so obvious that even the San Francisco chronicle blog notices.

One wonder whether President Obama's overt manipulation will work.  You know the old saying: Fool me once, shame on you.  Fool me twice, shame on me.
