More Defections from the Gingrich Team

Newt Gingrich's top fundraisers have announced their departure.  Will the former Speaker continue to stay in the race, without top staff or fundraisers?  Should he?

On the one hand, certainly the presidential field shouldn't simply be used as a publicity platform.  On the other, sometimes Gingrich has some solid ideas and points that can profitably be shared with the other candidates -- and no doubt his presence at the debates requires other contenders to "up their games" . . . all good.

Might one of the campaigns with a real shot at success be smart enough to bring Gingrich discreetly into their fold, with careful supervision (lest he tarnish the campaign with his all-too-frequent gaffes), so that the candidate might benefit from Gingrich's better ideas, while being able to edit out his unhelpful ones?
