Mobilize to Defeat Boxer

The Tarrance Group has a new poll out showing that Carly Fiorina and Barbara Boxer are tied -- 44% each, 6% voting for other candidates and 5% undecided.

Fiorina is leading handily just about everywhere except in the San Francisco area, where she needs to keep the built-in advantage for any Democrat candidate -- even Boxer -- down.

She could also use some shoring up among older and independent women.

Question for Older Women: Do you agree with the cuts to Medicare necessitated by ObamaCare? (see this edition of Politico, quoting AP story: "CBO Chief Contradicts Obama")

Boxer voted for ObamaCare; watch Fiorina discuss the problems with it.

Question for Independent Women: Are you content to have a senator who is obsessed with her title, even as she and others in Congress have voted for spending that's exploded the national debt to an all-time high of $13.665 trillion (that's $44,000 for every man, woman and child)?  Who has choked off water to the once-crop-rich Central Valley in service to the radical environmentalist agenda?  Who's bought endorsements from ethics-challenged Maxine Waters?

If you support all of that, then by all means, vote for Barbara Boxer -- ranking #2 on Washingtonian's 2004 list of "Best and Worst" . . . in the "No Rocket Scientist" category.
