Mollohan -- Gone

West Virginia's Alan Mollohan has become the first House incumbent to lose his seat, losing his primary tonight to a fellow Democrat who highlighted the supposedly pro-life Mollohan's support for ObamaCare and his belated opposition to cap 'n tax.

Part of the MSM meme no doubt will be that Mollohan's ethics problems did him in, but he had ethics problems back in 2006, too, when he won with a handy 64% of the vote.  And this seat has been in his family since 1968.

Although he may have been in the vanguard when it comes to losing, one suspects that Mollohan will have plenty of company this year.
