Getting to Know Martha Coakley

Over at Big Government, Gary Hewson has posted about Martha Coakley's inexplicable -- and appalling -- failure to prosecute a police officer who raped his own niece with a hot curling iron until the victim's mother filed applications for criminal complaints, effectively forcing her hand. 

Even then, Coakley's office recommended that the rapist be released on his own recognizance, without seeking any kind of bail.
