Could the Dems Give Racial Politics A Rest?

Even as the Sotomayor hearings continue -- featuring a Democrat's nominee who has loudly embraced her identity as a "wise Latina woman" and a "perfect affirmative action baby"

-- another Senate Democrat, Barbara Boxer, was trying to turn an Environment and Public Works Committee hearing into a racial matter.

Fortunately, the president & CEO of the National Black Chamber of Commerce, took Boxer to school and bawled her out for a shameful attempt to practice racial politics.
