Finding a New Cause

This story sums up Michelle Obama's first 100 days as First Lady.  It contains all the predictable plaudits, but what I found interesting was the admission that Mrs. Obama had yet to find her "niche" when it comes to a worthy cause to make her own.

Of course, it's taken many First Ladies more than 100 days to settle on a "cause."  But none of them have had a career that was supposedly based on the concept of community service (or touted it), a la Mrs. Obama.

It may well be that Mrs. Obama is needing to find new causes because many of her old ones (like this) are simply too radical for the taste of the majority of Americans.
