Ah, the Stimulus "Paradox"!
In the wake of today's market plunge, it's darkly amusing to read the MSM reporting.

Really?  Has it ever occurred to anyone that the stimulus plan isn't actually gaining the confidence of Wall Street -- quite the opposite, in fact?  There's nothing in that plan that's going to help the economy in the next year at all, as even Democrats now concede.

It's all a bit reminiscent of the liberal blinders so evident in NYT reporter Fox Butterfield's reporting about the "paradox" of crime falling as the jails fill.

With the economic reporting, as with the coverage of crime, too often liberal ideology skews press perceptions of cause and effect.
