His addition of the emphasized phrase (which, hearing it, was deliberately added on rather than simply a conversational tic) raises an obvious question: Are there instances in which Barack Obama wouldn't consider it to be a "mistake" for a 12- or 13-year-old girl to be having sex, whether or not she was "unprotected" by contraception?
Is Barack such a moral relativist that he's unwilling to draw a firm line even about such an obvious issue -- namely, that it's wrong for little girls to be sexually active even if they can't get pregnant?
