CNN's Chris Cuomo made a rather shocking claim on Monday night. According to the host, his show isn't about hating President Donald Trump, but about "respecting the law."

The admission came about during a conversation between Cuomo, CNN legal analyst Elie Honig and Trump campaign senior legal advisor Jenna Ellis on President Trump's judicial nominations. Cuomo and Honig continually ragged on the president, saying bar organizations have "never seen this many marginally qualified judges before."

Ellis reminded both men of one important tidbit: Trump has had quite a few legal victories, including the most recent injunction to block Democrats from obtaining the president's financial records.

"Let’s look at all the challenges he’s won. A lot of his cases. I mean, in terms of actually winning a lot of these cases and he hasn’t had to release his tax returns," Ellis said, referencing the Supreme Court's Monday night decision. "That's unconstitutional."

"The taxes I think will be the most interesting one," Cuomo replied. "His record thus far is bad in terms of his win/loss ratio."

Ellis had enough of Cuomo's Trump bashing.

"I feel so bad for this country and If you hate Donald Trump that much that you’re willing to sacrifice the Constitution over it, that is a dangerous precedent," she explained.

"Jenna, let me make one thing clear to you, alright? This show is about respecting the law," Cuomo explained.

If Cuomo's show wasn't dedicated to his anti-Trump shenanigans, why did he call his mom live on air to try and prove a Trump tweet wrong? Or maybe Cuomo forgot that he interviewed an illegal alien to try to prove Trump's statements on illegal immigration wrong. Instead, the illegal alien admitted he'd file a fraudulent asylum claim if he'd be allowed to stay in America.

CNN, as a network, has taken an anti-Trump stance from the get-go. This is just another example of their Trump Derangement Syndrome.
