President Trump on Tuesday vetoed a resolution which would put an end to America's support for the Saudi-led military campaign in Yemen, The Hill reported. This is the second veto of Trump's presidency.

“This resolution is an unnecessary, dangerous attempt to weaken my constitutional authorities, endangering the lives of American citizens and brave service members, both today and in the future,” Trump said in a statement.

The resolution passed 54-46 last month, with Republican Sens. Susan Collins (ME), Steve Daines (MT), Mike Lee (UT), Lisa Murkowski (AK), Jerry Moran (KS.), Rand Paul (KY) and Todd Young (IN) voting alongside Democrats.

This is a breaking news story. As more information comes in we will update this post.
