WATCH: Project Veritas Releases Unedited Video of Van Jones Saying Russia Is a 'Nothing Burger' After CPAC Confrontation

CNN's Van Jones appeared at CPAC on Thursday for a talk about criminal justice reform. While walking down the hallway Jones spotted a Project Vertitas reporter who went undercover back in June of 2017. It was at that time that the undercover journalist asked Jone what he thought would happen with the Russia probe. Footage showed Jones say "the Russia thing is a nothing burger."

When Jones spotted the undercover reporter, he confronted the man, saying Project Vertitas edited footage and didn't include the entire conversation, which took what he said out of context.

James O'Keefe took to Twitter to share the unedited footage, which clearly showed the footage wasn't edited out of context. All Project Vertitas did was cut out Jones' conversation with an acquaintance who asked him about his travel plans.

Admit it, Van. You were caught saying what you truly thought of the Russia probe. You, like the majority of Americans, think it's a "nothing burger." But you attempted to spin this to fit your narrative and the unedited footage doesn't support what you're saying. If anything, you owe the journalist an apology for calling him a liar in a public manner. The only person you can be mad at is yourself. You let your true feelings show...and it came to bite you in the butt.
