A Mini Rant for Conservative Women

I can't tell you how many times I've been asked in various media interviews questions like "How does it feel to be a member of a party that doesn't stand up for or promote women?" or "How come there aren't more Republican women in politics?" as if they were all locked up barefoot and pregnant in a kitchen by a chauvinist GOP good ole boy network and I wasn't ever given rightful opportunity as a political writer.

They're disgusting questions, often asked by very nice people who seemingly forget or ignore the Condi Rices, the Marsha Blackburns, the Michelle Malkins, the Bay Buchuanans, the Kathleen Parkers and all the rest. Because Republican women don't cry, fuss and make their gender their number one electoral qualification, ala Hillary Clinton, they've been overlooked by the Mainstream Media.

Until today.

Palin's executive experience makes her legitimate. Unlike many of the so-called liberal feminist icons, Palin didn't marry into power and her daddy didn't get her this job, either. She did it ON HER OWN.  And that's the kind of woman I want to break the highest, hardest glass ceiling.
