Transportation Fiascos

Transportation Fiascos
There's a lot of people here in Denver quietly buzzing about the transportation problems that might occur as people try to pack into Invesco Field for Obama's (yet another) historic speech this evening.

You see, although Invesco is perfectly equipped to handle a large amount of cars, the DNC wants everyone to use public transportation to get there. Since I've been here, the shuttle buses have been working relatively well, except for last night when a crowd of cyclists took over the streets.

Here's some photos from that choas below. The SWAT teams had to come in and clear the intersections to make sure everything was ok. I was in the middle of it and it seemed to me the cyclists were just trying to start a fight. A lot of them were trying to get in the police's face, but there just weren't enough of them to really do anything except cause a major headache for anyone trying to get through.
