MSNBC Guest On Mollie Tibbetts Murder: She's Just Some Girl In Iowa That Fox News Is Talking About; UPDATE: Oh, It's Now About 'Toxic Masculinity'

Illegal immigration catapulted Donald Trump to the top of the GOP field in 2016. It’s one of the many reasons why he won that year as well—one of the most stunning political upsets since Truman’s 1948 win. Illegal aliens come into the U.S. illegally, commit crimes, get deported, and are able to easily re-enter the country. It’s a vicious cycle. It’s a stupid cycle. And it’s a cause for concern for every true American, except those who call themselves Democrats, liberals, and Hillary supporters. They rather let American families be shattered in order to acquire these peoples’ votes. For any parent, the murder of Mollie Tibbetts in Brooklyn, Iowa is relatable. It could happen to anyone. For liberals and the guest pool of MSNBC, whose only purpose is to make liberals feel like they’re not total losers, it’s just a Fox News story—and Mollie is just some girl from Iowa. Screw them, right? Mr. Curtis Houck at Newsbusters has more:

Appearing on MSNBC’s The Beat early Tuesday night, frequent MSNBC guest and Fordham University Professor Christina Greer smeared the memory of late University of Iowa student Mollie Tibbetts as “a girl in Iowa” that “Fox News is talking about” instead of going all-in on the plea deal for Michael Cohen and the verdict in the Paul Manafort trial.

[…]

She added that “[t]he fact that” Trump was even allowed to become President “after the Access Hollywood tape let me know for a fact that the Republican Party is actually not working on behalf of the American people” and instead for Trump after he “bull[ied] them into their silence and I don't think today changes as much, unfortunately.”

[…]

I’m sure we’ll hear what he has to say about this at his — his rally, but Fox News is talking about, you know, a girl in Iowa and not this, right? And, tomorrow morning, we know he’ll wake up in tweak and sort of, you know, besmirch the reputation of Michael Cohen and all the people around him and then go back to Mueller. And this has, obviously, been boiled down to Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.

CNN’s Sally Kohn also took the time to show the world how out of touch she is, blasting Fox News for having the temerity to...report on a news story. She too denigrated and marginalized Mollie Tibbetts and her family, pretty much saying that some white girl in Iowa allegedly murdered by an illegal alien (fact check: she was) is not of national concern. Well, way to write off a large swath of American voters, who are parents, and who think that child safety is, I don’t know, a daily major concern. This is why you keep losing liberals. Coupled with the abolish Immigration and Customs Enforcement nonsense, every day the liberal position is clear: screw American citizens, screw the Americans who are murdered by illegals, screw their families, and screw you if you disagree.

UPDATE: Symone Sanders, a former Bernie Sanders 2016 staffer, says it's really about toxic masculinity, not because someone who was here illegally murdered someone who would be alive if we didn't have a shoddy immigration system and a political party that opposes deporting illegal aliens.
