Trump To Hold A Special (And Tremendous) Event During Fox Debate

With Donald Trump backing away from the Fox News presidential debate tomorrow, the billionaire magnate is going to host a special event that will benefit veterans. Some veteran groups have already indicated that they will not allow their organizations be used as political footballs (via CNN):

The event on Thursday, hosted at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, will start with a pre-program at 8 p.m. ET, and the main event will start at 9 p.m. ET, a statement said.

No other information was provided, with the statement only saying "additional details to follow."

Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America founder Paul Rieckhoff tweeted Wednesday that he would decline any contributions that came from the event.

"If offered, @IAVA will decline donations from Trump's event. We need strong policies from candidates, not to be used for political stunts," he said.

Trump has engaged in a prolonged and senseless "war" against Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly, who he felt was very unfair to him in the last debate hosted by the news organization. The network refused to remove Kelly as a moderator for tomorrow night's debate that caused Trump to walk away.
