Sen. Elizabeth Warren took a shot at Mitt Romney and Donald Trump on Friday ahead of the former Massachusetts governor’s meeting with the president-elect on Saturday.
Bringing up a comment Romney made during the 2012 campaign, when he said he consulted “binders full of women” when looking at resumes to fill his administration, Warren said maybe he could bring that binder along to help Trump fill his cabinet.
“Gov @MittRomney: when you're meeting with @realDonaldTrump, maybe you could bring your binders full of women with you?” Warren tweeted, along with a picture of Trump’s possible cabinet picks—most of whom are men.
Trump and Romney are planning to meet Saturday in Bedminster, N.J., at the president-elect’s golf course. According to reports, Romney’s name is being floated for secretary of state.
