ISIS Reportedly Behind Indonesia Attack

At least 7 people were killed and 24 wounded Thursday in the capitol city of Indonesia when terrorists set of bombs and explosive devices near several downtown locations.

A local Starbucks was targeted and of the 7 killed, 5 were perpetrators of the attacks.  The other two were a foreign national and Indonesian native.

The area surrounding a local shopping center is also near foreign embassies and United Nations offices.

Indonesian President Joko Widodo described the attacks as an "act of terror."

"We all are grieving for the fallen victims of this incident, but we also condemn the act that has disturbed the security and peace and spread terror among our people."

Jakarta police chief Tito Karnavian blamed ISIS and singled out a militant named Bahrun Naim, who he said plotted the attack to assert himself among various figures competing to lead ISIS in Southeast Asia.
