Republicans are going to use the floor time Democrats have so graciously offered tonight (they say we'll be in until midnight) to talk about how recession tax hikes will make it harder to create jobs.

We will also engage the Conference's 23,000 plus Twitter followers about the Democrats' latest plans to adjourn without stopping the biggest tax hike in American history.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has obstinately refused to schedule a vote on the matter prior to the November elections, despite bipartisan calls for the immediate extension of President Bush's tax relief for all Americans--including the middle class and "the rich."
