RNC Seeking Disciplinary Action Against Cheryl Mills
The Republican National Committee has sent a letter to Washington, D.C.'s Office of Disciplinary Counsel demanding they consider taking action against former Hillary Clinton aide Cheryl Mills. In their attorney complaint, the committee points out that Mills may have violated a D.C. Bar rule by being under Clinton's employment while the former secretary of state was under FBI investigation for her email abuse.

The District of Columbia’s Rules of Professional Conduct strictly prohibit a lawyer from accepting employment in connection with a matter the lawyer “participated personally and substantially as a public officer or employee.” This is an “absolute disqualification” that “carries forward a policy of avoiding both actual impropriety and the appearance of impropriety.”

Mills and former IT specialist Bryan Pagliano, the man who set up Clinton's private server, were granted immunity during Clinton's FBI investigation, shielding them from having to face accountability.

The RNC may have received even more justification to ask for disciplinary measures against Mills, considering Monday's bombshell that the FBI agreed to destroy her computer after inspecting it. As Guy wondered, "Remember, James Comey told Congress that there was no case for criminal charges against Cheryl Mills.  If that's the case, what did she need immunity for?"
