Obama Says There's "Nowhere To Go But Up" Regarding Healthcare.gov

Speaking to Barbara Walters on ABC, President Obama acknowledged that there have been many problems with the roll-out of the Affordable Care Act, but he remains confident that things will only continue to improve.

"I've gone up and down pretty much consistently throughout," Obama told ABC's Barbara Walters in an exclusive interview at the White House. "But the good thing about when you're down is that usually you got nowhere to go but up."

While the president's optimism in the face of his worst-ever poll numbers is admirable, his claim that there is "nowhere to go but up" is questionable at best. The employer mandate has already been delayed until 2015, but insurance companies have warned that over half of employer-based plans could be canceled under the law.

That doesn't sound like "up" to me.
