Townhall Review
October 31, 2017
The Associated Press Stylebook has decided to join the sexual and moral revolution, and it’s going to war with human nature.

The new guidelines instruct that writers and editors, for example, should “avoid references to being born a boy or girl.”

On the one hand, we must realize that one of the most important weapons in moral revolution is vocabulary. If you change the language, you in effect change the reality.

On the other hand, we can be sure that they will not actually be successful in changing this fundamental reality of biological sex. As much as the modern sexual revolutionaries may want to destroy them, the terms and ideas of being male or female remain rather indispensable.

Parents will continue to announce that a baby boy or a baby girl has been born. And that’s because, thanks be to God, parents are not bound by the Associated Press Stylebook, nor will they be.
