During his campaign, President Donald Trump promised to repeal and replace the disaster that is Obamacare. However, that promise is proving difficult to keep.
Earlier this month, House Republicans introduced their replacement plan: the American Health Care Act (AHCA). Unfortunately, the bill has received more criticism than praise - and not just from Democrats.
While President Trump announced his support of the AHCA, many Republicans have labeled it “Obamaccare Lite” and are, instead, demanding a full repeal of Obama’s rapidly imploding heath care bill.
Thursday, the House Budget Committee narrowly advanced the AHCA, despite the Congressional Budget Office’s somewhat bleak rating of the bill.
