I like it when I'm right. On October 26, 2024, I wrote a piece over at Twitchy about President Trump seeing cracks in Kamala Harris' blue wall. What specifically stood out to me was where Trump and Kamala were campaigning just days before the election: Trump was going to Green Bay and Milwaukee, Democrat areas of varying shades of blue. Kamala Harris was also campaigning in Milwaukee as well as Madison and LaCrosse — reliable Democrat strongholds.
I attended Trump's rally in Green Bay and spoke to other attendees, and that's when I suspected Trump was not only going to win Wisconsin, but the election (there had been reports that the Democrats saw Kamala's blue wall cracking in states like North Carolina, too). This was despite all the polling that said Kamala was on track for a landslide win.
Now, with 34 days to the election, I'm getting similar vibes from the David Crowley campaign. Even his supporters are noticing his lack of campaigning in the state.

Earlier this week, Crowley went to California for a fundraiser hosted by Kamala Harris and with radical left-wing actor Sean Penn as a headliner. Crowley also traveled to D.C. twice this month to beg national Democrats for money, as Republican Tom Tiffany is outspending him three-to-one and beating Crowley soundly in fundraising.
While most Democrats, like Adam Hamilton in Kansas and Mary Peltola in Alaska, are telling the former Veep and failed candidate to stay away from them, Crowley is embracing her.
California Crowley will bring California-style policies to Wisconsin.

Higher taxes, bigger government, sanctuary policies, releasing half of the prison population, and more taxpayer dollars going to benefits for illegal immigrants. https://t.co/2UvjPHS1Dr
It's clear Crowley, who just proposed a socialized medicine scheme for the state, will turn Wisconsin into the Midwest version of California.
First, @DavidCCrowley jets to California for a $20K VIP fundraiser with Kamala Harris.

Now, he welcomes campaigning with socialist Francesca Hong.
David Crowley will turn Wisconsin into California with higher taxes, sanctuary policies, and more of your money going to Madison. https://t.co/YJ1sTY74Oi
Speaking of campaigning and Hong, the Democratic Socialist is out doing more events in Wisconsin than David Crowley.
Self-avowed socialist Francesca Hong is currently doing more events in Wisconsin than David Crowley.

Crowley only cares about you if you can afford his $1,000 per plate fundraisers in California and DC. pic.twitter.com/Q3ulRog5Uo
The irony is thick: Democrats dragged Crowley back into the race after he dropped out over the summer, fearing Hong would get beaten by Tiffany in November.
I think Crowley is on track to lose, too. Not because the polls say so, but because he's campaigning like a candidate who knows the writing is on the wall, just as Kamala Harris did.
Circling back to that Reddit post, look at what it's saying. Crowley has one event at his Madison campaign office.
"Why isn't he talking to rural voters? Why isn't he trying to get urban progressives active? Urban voters want to hear from him, and Madison would turn out for rallies and Q and As every week if he had them," the post reads.
It was clear to me in 2024 that the Kamala campaign didn't think she was inspiring voters in normal Democrat areas of my state, hence her campaign stops in those deep-blue areas.
Meanwhile, Tom Tiffany is traveling the state to speak to all voters. He held an event in Milwaukee and had an emergency on the way back from a campaign event that forced the aircraft he was traveling in to land in Lake Wausau. This reminds me of how the Trump campaign visited light blue Green Bay and blue Milwaukee in the last days of the election: he saw opportunity, and he didn't squander it.
I'm not saying this a done deal. Every single Republican voter in Wisconsin needs to go vote on November 3, and take as many people with you as you can. We're facing an uphill battle in a midterm year, and turnout will be key. But what I am saying is this whole thing is giving me Kamala 2024 vibes, and that's making me cautiously optimistic.
