The WNBA just might turn me into a feminist after all. Not a new-wave, woke, nonsense feminist of course, but the old school version that simply wants a sane and equitable approach to women's rights. After all, the trans activist Left has already deemed me a Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminist (TERF), so I may as well go all in.
And from where I sit in my TERFy chair, it seems the WNBA has finally crossed a line, a line that will undoubtedly lead to more threats and violence against women like me, at the hands of mentally ill men who don't like being told "no."
Chicago Sky owner Michael Alter just equated wearing a shirt that supports women to shooting someone with a gun.

Freedom has since argued he should have been given a warning before his ejection in a letter to the WNBA. The WNBA fan code does not state that fans are entitled to a warning before ejection. When asked why Freedom was not given a warning before his ejection, Alter said "He wasn’t given a warning because certain threats don’t get warnings.
"To use an extreme example, uh, when you, when you shoot a gun at someone, you don't get a warning, 'Don't do that again.' It, it's, you know, your action doesn't deserve a warning."
Alter acknowledged that he does not know if Freedom actually stepped on the court. Freedom has said he did not step on the court.
Many may see this as an off-handed comment. But it's not. It's saying that showing up to a WNBA game — a league where the word "women" is right there in the title — and standing up for biological women is akin to attempted murder.
This comes from people who have no problem showing up to call pro-women protesters "c**ts" (a crude term for female anatomy), who threaten us with rape and assault and murder if we oppose naked men in our bathrooms and locker rooms, and who chase us out of sports. The same people who block roads, burn down buildings, harass Supreme Court Justices outside their homes, and vowed to make sure no Republican had a moment's peace while out in public are suddenly really concerned about protests on their turf.
Seems a rather troubling standard, doesn't it?
And by equating the defense of women's rights to using a gun, it's once again creating a permission structure under which the pro-trans crowd can further abuse us. After all, our words are — by their beliefs — literally killing people.
If a dictionary definition on a T-shirt is now a “threat” that needs no warning just like shooting a gun, then the WNBA has stopped pretending this is about safety and started promoting the dangerous belief that women’s sex-based rights are the crime. That is the permission structure: treat biological reality as violence, and the people who defend it become fair targets. A league with “women” in the name that cannot tolerate the word itself, and cannot come to a consensus on what that word means, is not protecting anyone except the mentally ill, often depraved men who demand entry to women's spaces. At the same time, it elevates the ideologues who target us TERFs. Old-school feminism was never about that. It was about saying no. The WNBA just made the case that saying no is an unforgivable act of violence.
