David Crowley is trying to hide his record as Milwaukee County Executive, and it's understandable why. During his time in office, Milwaukee County has a budget deficit, increased crime, high taxes, and cuts to services. His failed record would harm his gubernatorial bid, so Crowley has to blame Republicans, including Scott Walker, for his mismanagement.

But this ad is so chock-full of lies it can't be ignored.

Here's some of the lies:

The circled part reads, "Still, the budget includes the largest property tax increase in at least two decades and a larger-than-normal withdrawal from reserves, signaling that the circumstances that have made 2026 a difficult budget year have not been resolved and that service reductions may need to extend to other county departments in future years."

Incredible.

Yes, please. Every ad is a gift to the Republicans.

Crowley will say that's not his problem.

His Republican opponent, Tom Tiffany, broke down all the lies.

"David Crowley has RAISED property taxes by $9 million as County Executive," Tiffany wrote. "He wants to KEEP data center subsidies. Milwaukee County is projected to run a $51 MILLION budget deficit next year."

Where are the media fact-checkers to ask Crowley questions? Nowhere to be found, of course.

Editor’s Note: The 2026 Midterms will determine the fate of President Trump’s America First agenda. Republicans must maintain control of both chambers of Congress.
