Well, that was fun! Part 2 is tomorrow night, with Trump joking earlier that Hannity always makes this a 2-parter.

Price controls = no product, massive inflation, and the destruction of our economy, Trump says of Harris' economic proposal

YIKES! Trump warning about a 1929 level depression if Harris is president. "She has no idea what the hell she's doing," he warns!

The Trump townhall continues to hone in on Kamala's flip-flopping on energy since natural gas drives the economy in Pennsylvania. Kamala's past as a climate crusader and ardent opponent of fracking is certainly coming back to haunt her on the campaign trail.

"She's very proud of Bidenomics" and "her values have not changed," Hannity reminds about Harris.

Ooh, another clip from Harris' own words, including on a top issue for many voters: inflation! It's more word salad.

"No one was tougher on Russia than me," Trump recalled shutting down Nord Steam Pipeline before slamming Biden for paying Russia millions of dollars while in office.

Sep 04, 2024 9:38 PM ET Rebecca Downs

Trump made a keen point that he also made during that June 27 debate against Biden, basically that he'd prefer Biden actually be a good president so he (Trump) could enjoy retired life. Since then, though, as Trump reminded tonight, he was also shot/nearly assassinated.

Hannity with a great question about the core message for Trump's campaign in 2024

2016 was about the forgotten man

2024 is still about those voters, plus now rebuilding the nation destroyed under Biden.

Trump predicts WWIII with those "clowns." Promises to not bring the U.S. into WWIII.

Sep 04, 2024 9:35 PM ET Rebecca Downs

Trump says he doesn't want to make such a prediction, but because of the "clowns" we have, he does reiterate he thinks we'll have World War III.

Trump gets a nice reception when he says there were no "blow-ups" during his presidency regarding radical Islamic terrorism

Sep 04, 2024 9:32 PM ET Rebecca Downs

Back from commercial break, the town hall plays a clip of Harris receiving applause for her line about rejecting terms of "radical Islamic terrorism" and "illegal alien." She claims it's a matter of "courage."

Trump says it's a matter of Harris wanting to be "politically correct," something we can't "afford" to do, especially when it comes to what's going on in the Middle East. He reiterates that the October 7 attack against Israel wouldn't have happened, the same thing with Russia invading Ukraine.

"We had four years without any blowups," Trump reminds, also reiterating the term Harris doesn't want to use: no "radical Islamic terror!"

Harris is reversing her stances on energy, health care, and illegal immigration in an apparent attempt to make herself appear more electable to moderates in key swing states like battleground Pennsylvania.

A ban on fracking is just one of Harris' abandoned policy positions, which include her pledge to eliminate private health insurance and ban the sale of new gas-powered cars by 2035. That of course was when she was seeking the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020.

Trump raises a curious point about Harris bringing notes to that CNN interview...

The 16:30 timer just concluded. That is how long Kamala spoke to Dana Bash last week.

Sep 04, 2024 9:23 PM ET Rebecca Downs

Trump laughs "even if you don't like me" that those in favor of fracking should vote for him. This is an excellent point. People aren't voting for their best friend/spouse/clergy. They're voting for someone to lead the country.

Sep 04, 2024 9:23 PM ET Sarah Arnold

"Even if you don't like me, you gotta vote for me," Trump stresses the need for fracking in Pennsylvania for its economy and commonwealth.

Sep 04, 2024 9:23 PM ET Sarah Arnold

Trump says if Harris wins, there will be no fracking in Pennsylvania. "She's not gonna allow it."

Sep 04, 2024 9:23 PM ET Matt Vespa

There's always a tweet or a video to shred Kamala Harris, her record, and any attempt she makes to pivot.

Sep 04, 2024 9:22 PM ET Sarah Arnold

Harris once accused oil companies of committing “climate crimes.” Then, she tried to sue the Obama Administration during her final year as a California attorney general for planning to allow fracking off the Pacific Coast.

The event hasn't started yet
