Five Conservative Children's Books to Buy This Christmas

'Tis the season again! The air is chilly, Christmas lights are going up, Christmas music is everywhere, and stores are becoming crowded with shoppers. It's hard to find gifts for young kids that both educate and entertain while affirming traditional American values.Listed below are five wonderful books written by conservative Americans designed to inspire and inform your children!

Marlon Bundo’s A Day in the Life of the Vice President

Charlotte Pence---Author, Karen Pence---Illustrator  (Regnery 2018)

Who knew the Vice President of the United States had a pet bunny? Well, he does - and the bunny’s name is Marlon Bundo who is named after the actor, Marlon Brando. This fun little book was written by VP Mike Pence’s daughter, Charlotte Pence, and the delightful illustrations were drawn by his wife, Karen Pence!

Marlon Bundo goes about his day as “Bunny of the United States” (aka BOTUS), following his “Grampa” (Mike Pence) to allow readers to get a glimpse into life in the White House! This charming book has captured the hearts of young conservatives across the country – and even riled up comedian John Oliver enough to make a parody book.

Christmas in America (Ellis the Elephant)

Callista Gingrich (2015)

Christmas has shaped American culture in a truly unique way – inspiring traditions carried on from generation to generation and core values giving Americans hope and faith for their nation.

In this cheerful children’s book, Callista Gingrich allows Ellis the Elephant to take a journey through time, exploring the many ways Christmas has been celebrated throughout our nation’s history.
