Biden's Constitutional Snub, Scar-Joe Blames Trump for the Dems, and Politico Swoons Over Joe's Playlist

Democratic Custodial Services – MSNBC

  • With Democratic fingerprints all over this story, it just HAS to be Donald Trump's fault!

The recent story of a group of immigrants jumping police officers in New York and then, following their arrests, being summarily released without bail was enraging to anyone in their right mind – so much so that Joe Scarborough was also enraged by this. But then he and his bride, Mika, arrived at a deeply stunted conclusion.

In looking at this story of immigrants permitted into the country because of Biden's border policies, welcomed into the Democrat-run sanctuary city of New York, and then turned back out onto the streets by a hyper-liberal district attorney, Scar-Joe announces that, clearly, the blame rests with Republicans and Donald Trump.

News Avoidance Syndrome – VARIOUS OUTLETS

  • It seems ACTUAL defiance of SCOTUS is not as bad…somehow.

Recall how,  over the past couple of weeks, we have been watching numerous news outlets wailing about the threat to democracy, the violation of the constitution, and the likelihood of a civil war emerging – all due to Texas Governor Greg Abbott "defying" the Supreme Court over using razor wire at the border. Of course, the central problem is that he is doing no such thing. The Court only gave the Border Patrol permission to remove it, should it be deemed necessary, as accurately described here, surprisingly, by The Daily Beast.

Now, it would stand to reason that if a news outlet is outraged at Abbott over what he is not doing, that an indication of the president actually defying SCOTUS – or more accurately, bragging about doing so – that, too, would lead to outrage. Yet, the news outlets sit with their unreasoned positions.

Stealth Story Evolution – SPORTS ILLUSTRATED

  • This brings up thoughts of barn doors and escaped cows for some reason.

There were several factors that went into the rather quick demise of Sports Illustrated. The immediate impact was the discovery that the licensed publisher – The Arena Group – had been using AI-published articles and falsified writers, leading to the dismissal of many top executives and, a couple of weeks ago, the laying off of the entire staff. Precipitating that was the magazine lapsing into many woke decisions to drive off readership, such as featuring a trans model on the cover of its annual swimsuit edition.

The Washington Post reports that at the magazine, the decision was made, just ahead of going to the printers, to have a story about a trans athlete removed from the copy:

The story, reported and written by Chris Mannix, was intended to be part of the March edition of the magazine that hits newsstands at the end of February. But on Wednesday, just days before the issue was scheduled to be printed, Orestes Baez, an Arena Group executive, told top editors not to include it. Multiple Sports Illustrated staffers said they had never seen a story removed in such a manner.

If this has been done as a means of offending fewer readers, then it would seem this has been done about a year too late.

Low Octane Gas Lighting – SAMAA TV

  • Left-wing bias is not confined to our country.

While not at all surprising, it is still illuminating to see when journalists in other nations actually deliver the same slanted journalism seen here from our press stateside.

The announcement came out today that the US Capitol Police would not be filing any charges against Aidan Maese-Czeropski, the former staffer from Senator Ben Cardin's office who filmed himself having graphic sex inside the Senate Hearing Chambers located in the Hart Building and posting the footage online.

Following the announcement of taking no action, Tahir Chaudhary, a reporter for the Pakistani news service SAMAA Television, comes out with this helpfully biased explanation.

This is rather desperate, considering the legality was spelled out by the USCP ("a likely violation of Congressional policy"), the evidence was splashed across the internet for all to see, and it took place inside of the Capitol, which is the very jurisdiction OF THE CAPITOL POLICE.

Legalized Press-titution – POLITICO

  • Well, we suppose Sam gets a minor dose of credit for not discussing Taylor Swift here.

You can practically hear them vibrating with the anticipation of finding out this trivial nugget. We are not sure exactly who has any interest whatsoever in the playout music for Joe Biden as he takes the stage at his campaign events this summer (when it is not some lullaby, as he is taking a nap – uh, WE MEAN CALLING A LID), but be assured if there is such a person, Politico is the go-to source once it becomes discovered:

JOE BIDEN’s team is facing one of the biggest, most consequential decisions of the 2024 election cycle: What will be its campaign song? When West Wing Playbook reached out to Biden staffers for this piece, they were tight-lipped about the song-selection process. Alums of the 2020 campaign and former White House officials did not want to speculate about possibilities for this year’s rotation.
