There is nothing to celebrate with this current hostage-based ceasefire in Gaza. All of the Americans haven't been released. Are we truly going to play this game again with Hamas? They're terrorists—and we're trusting them with keeping their word on hostage releases? They've already violated the agreement by firing rockets into Israel. And yet, the pause in the Gaza War has been extended by two days. Israel will keep its word because it's a civilized society, unlike the rabid terrorist dogs across the border.

A second batch of hostages were released over the weekend, but not before the agreement teetered on total collapse. The work of the international community, specifically Qatar, prevented a complete breakdown. But even then, Biden, Mr. Foreign Policy (Trainwreck), couldn't secure the release of American hostages. What is it with Democrats and not being able to get this done without it costing them politically or worsening our situation aboard? Former President Barack Obama bribed the Iranians with pallets of cash. Former President Jimmy Carter lost the White House. Now, Joe Biden sleeps and goes shopping.

The first American was released, but like Obama with deserter Bowe Bergdahl, there's controversy, as the family of the four-year-old bought Hunter Biden's art – a venture that many have noted is fraught with ethical quandaries, notably that it can be used for money laundering and depositing cash for favors, as the buyer's list isn't public. It's a more shameless scheme than the Clinton Foundation.

Yet, it's the release of some 150 Palestinian terrorists that's unnerving and showcases the defined line between the two sides. Hamas are terrorist animals who slaughtered 1,200-1,400 Israelis, raping women, burning and beheading babies, and committing wanton mass slaughter. Israel bends over backward to prevent civilian casualties, warns the public to vacate war zones, and is releasing people it knows will be plotting to kill its citizens in exchange for getting its people home, along with those from other nations whom Hamas kidnapped on October 7.

I'm not saying anything you don't already know, but what are we doing here? And all the aid that's flowing into Gaza during this pause is going to be stolen by Hamas. We know this—why are nations treating them as sovereign entities when they're not? When the other side is an unholy band of radical Muslim extremists who murder, rape and behead babies, the only solution is death. The only outcome is their destruction. And the only acceptable aid is any intelligence we can provide Shin Bet and Mossad, though they have impeccable assets of their own, to kill these people.

Hamas is going to break this ceasefire as they did before October 7. When that happens, and it will, Israel should resume military operations and ignore the noise for more so-called "humanitarian pauses." Terrorists are not legitimate actors in any negotiating process among civilized nations. You keep bombing, shooting, and assassinating their leaders and rank-and-file. Death is the only prescription appropriate for these people. And I hope Hezbollah in southern Lebanon knows they're next on the list.
