It Is Your Patriotic Duty to Defy New Mask Mandates by the CDC

If you've ever watched the film "Contagion," which was released almost ten years ago, you can see where things can go if there's a highly contagious virus. The film has an all-star cast that details the chaos that erupts when a lethal bat-borne virus launches a global pandemic. Yes, it also originated in China, though it did not come from a virology lab. Social order collapses, deaths soar into the millions, and there's a race for a vaccine. The film can be viewed as eerily prescient. The good news is that COVID has a high survival rate. One person losing their life is too many, but to put things into perspective, the death toll will be slightly higher than the annual butcher's bill this nation is handed from cancer every year. It's not a pleasant subject, so I can see why most don't dwell on it, but there is an extraordinary amount of death every day. The death toll from COVID will be nowhere near the Spanish flu or the Black Death. We should be thankful for that. Yet, with three vaccines and low death rates, even with the Delta variant—it's become clear that our next patriotic duty is to defy anything the CDC or Dr. Anthony Fauci says next. It's time to tell this clown town to vacate the premises.

The mask mandates are coming back to Democratic-run areas, federal workers will be subjected to a vaccine mandate, and the CDC says it's looking into a nationwide vaccine mandate. No one cares about cases. That means nothing. What's the death and hospitalization rate? It's nowhere near where it was pre-vaccine. You know this because the COVID news has become increasingly regional about these figures and cases. The experts even admit that this is now an issue with the unvaccinated. So, the solution is...to force the vaccinated to mask up again and then bribe the unvaccinated who are still waiting for someone to answer their questions about the long-term effects of the vaccine without being shredded as sub-human creatures for refusing to get the shot.

This is partially because these lab coat fascists have zero clue about the consequences they have on public policy. Second, this is a government operation. By default, what would you expect when a bunch of drooling vegetables tries to come up with a complicated targeting strategy that is fraught with nuance? Third, this is about control. It was always about that, but deaths were pretty significant in the months leading to the deployment of the vaccines. There was a reason. It was still sucky—but there was a cause. Now, there is none. NONE.

The CDC's internal memo about Delta making you sicker is bunk. The study was rejected by peer review. Now, everyone is obsessed with this little outbreak in Cape Cod. Do we need to shut down the nation because fewer than 1,000 people contracted the virus? But they were vaccinated? Sure—but overall, who cares when you look at all 161 million Americans who are fully vaccinated. As The New York Post wrote, the CDC's own figures gut its latest COVID panic porn production.

"Out of 161 million US residents who were fully vaccinated as of July 19, just 5,601 caught a severe breakthrough infection and were hospitalized — an infinitesimal 0.0035 percent of the protected population, according to the latest CDC figures available on post-vaccination infections," they wrote. "When it comes to deaths, the risk is even lower, with just 1,141 vaccinated people dying from a COVID-19 breakthrough infection — or 0.0007 percent of those fully jabbed."

That alone ends this little circus.

Across the pond in the UK, Delta appears to have peaked. There have been no new mask mandates, and cases have fallen for over a week. Deaths barely spiked. The experts also didn't sow seeds of panic about Delta and those who have been vaccinated.

Look, if you choose not to get the shot, I'm okay with that. I don't lose sleep over it. I don't view you as a neanderthal. This is America, and the vaccine should be a choice. The irony about those who are hesitant is that while the media will zero in on the political angle, the real monsters are the experts who have been flip-flopping like crazy for months. It's healthy to have and ask questions about this vaccine. I felt comfortable getting it. I know others, millions, have not. Instead of leveling with these people, they've been subjected to the very worst of liberal America's moral superiority complex.

The expert and political class are throwing their tantrum over vaccinations because of the mere fact that not everyone is complying. That's liberalism's underlying theme: submission. All must submit—there can be no deviation. The vaccinated and unvaccinated alike are being punished by the experts over a virus that has a 90+ percent survivability rate. Defy everything. Go outside. Burn your masks. Live your life and enjoy the summer. COVID is over. It's over. No matter how much the experts want to scare you—it's done.

For the unvaccinated, all I'll say is that three vaccines are available when you're ready. The choice is yours, but I'm through with these clowns. And if Biden wants to talk about vaccine mandates ahead of a key midterm election and thinks this will help him, he's the biggest gambler in the room and also an idiot.
