We’re less than two weeks away from the first 2024 presidential debate between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump in Atlanta, Georgia — a crucial swing state each candidate needs to win the White House. It’s the earliest debate on record and comes as Trump wallops Biden — who spent the week wandering around the G7 Summit and being redirected by world leaders — in a number of swing states on top issues: the economy, illegal immigration and border security.

But while Trump is ahead in the polls, Team Biden is working overtime to use the resources of the federal government to get out the vote…for their side.

In March, Vice President Kamala Harris held a roundtable event in Washington, D.C., to announce a new taxpayer-funded, "non-partisan" program to pay students to register voters. She also touted efforts to activate "non-partisan" poll workers for Election Day.

"We have been doing work to promote voter participation for students. And, for example, we have, under the federal work study program, now allow students to get paid, through federal work study, to register people and to be nonpartisan poll workers," Harris explained. "As we know, this important for a number of reasons. One, to engage our young leaders in this process and activate them in terms of their ability to, to strengthen our communities. But also, this is the work that we need to do knowing that so many poll workers have left this work for a variety of reasons that we will also discuss."

Of course, there is nothing non-partisan about the effort, which is a blatant abuse of taxpayer funds to help the Democratic Party and get President Joe Biden reelected.

The activists tapped to help Harris with this project are the kind of ruthless leftists you find organizing on college campuses. Harris proved this by posting a photo on her official vice presidential X feed with former Alliance for Justice staffer Vasu Abhiraman, who is a partner in the effort.

Since the program was announced, Harris has traveled to a number of key counties and states to hold events on this very issue, holding meetings with successful activists.

Further, the Biden-Harris administration efforts are being mirrored by Democrats.org, a well organizing apparatus, through payments and bribes to young voters.

“Do you know any young progressive activists? We're paying activists under age 30 up to $35 to encourage their unregistered friends to register. We hope to pay 100,000 GenZ activists so your contribution will make a huge difference,” the organization has sent out in a number of emails over the past few weeks.

Harris is good at this, as are the bureaucrats in the federal government. The Trump campaign and the RNC shouldn’t brush off the effort, even if young voters are unlikely to actually show up at the polls.
