Our debt chicken came home to roost, twice; our economy is stalling; Superman’s going international and electric cars will, sooner or later, be deemed a threat to a type of ground squirrel that you and I have never heard of.

The funny thing is that when I first read about the new Superman storyline, I immediately thought of the new Coke/old Coke controversy. By introducing a new formulation of Coke, the Coca Cola company made fans remember all the things they loved about the real thing (pun intended).
But the analogy fell apart when I realized the big difference: Coke is just a product; Superman is a character. He’s a character who is supposed to represent “Truth, Justice and the American Way.”
That’s heady American stuff.
SNL already discussed the implication of a non-American Superman in great detail in Season 4, episode 10 in a segment called “What if?” starring Michael Palin- no relation to Sarah I suppose.
“I am.. Uberman! I have superhuman powers, and I fight for untruth, injustice, and the Nazi way.”
Sounds like he works for ACORN.

There are lots of reasons why we need a fair tax. The biggest reason is that it’s, um, fair. But also, one of the main sources of corruption in our government is the subtle tilting of the tax code in order to bribe certain groups.
Liberals would contend that the tax code is set up to favor the rich.
I disagree.
Every tax cut that the liberals contended helped the rich produced more revenue with the exceptions of short periods in the midst of recessions.
While liberals will point to the Clinton tax hike as proof that we can raise taxes without hurting the economy, they forget to add that Clinton also lowered capital gains significantly at the same time, which far out-weighed the tax increase.
The middle class and the poor have benefited from many of the bribes in the tax code, including the earned income tax credit; mortgage interest deductions; and stimulus payments.
The policy of favoring one group over another by promising favorable tax treatment or outright tax credits has to stop.
Our tax code is the single biggest threat to liberty today.

Yes, I updated my picture.
Frankly it was annoying that you kept copying and pasting the same comments about Danny Bonaduce on every article I produced. Childish too.
I thought about having you kicked off the site but I hate to do that. I like my readers, even the jerks.
So now you’re free to start commenting on the content in my “moronic” articles, rather than my picture.
But before we get to that I have a question for you:
I get paid to write “moronic” columns on the site.
What’s your excuse for reading them?
And by the way, thanks for reading them. It’s very helpful to me personally.

I have great faith in God and Country. I just think that we ought to be asking the Chinese to reform their fascist state if they are going to be our largest trading partner and our largest creditor.
There is growing evidence that China is expanding co-operation with the Pakistan in Kasmir in an attempt to intimidate other regional powers.
“The commander of India’s Northern Army has raised concern about China’s deepening cooperation with Pakistan and its growing presence in Pakistani-controlled portions of Kashmir collectively known as Gilgit-Baltistan,” reports the South Asia Security Monitor
“There are many people who are concerned about the fact that if there was to be hostility between us and Pakistan,” says Indian General KT Parnaik, “what would be the complicity of Chinese. Not only they are in the neighbourhood but the fact that they are actually present and stationed along the” the border between Pakistan and India.
I’m not worried about China overtaking the U.S. economically.
I am concerned about the increased concentration of power in a country that does not have our best interest at heart.

Dear FC-
The scary mind of liberals, eh?
I’ve never understood their infatuation with the electric car. I don’t care one way or another how I get from point A to B.
But we’d need to expand electric generation in the country in order to make electric cars a reasonable alternative, Since liberals seem to be against nuclear, coal, gas-fired plants, I don’t know where the extra supply will come from.
There will be environmental issues that come with the expansion of “green” energy production, too like, solar and wind power, just watch.
Wind power will endanger the life of a type of ground squirrel that we all have never heard of; or solar will cause some sort of magnetic waves that alter a hitherto unknown part of the lower atmosphere- perhaps it will be called the obamapshere after its discoverer, who win a second Nobel prize as the man who saved us from solar power.
I think he should start the research right away,
