Why Hate Trump When The People Attacking Him Are So Much Worse?

The difficulty in judging any man is that his actions must be judged on both their merit and on the context of the times he lives in. Donald Trump is a product of the times in which we live.

Unfortunately, we live in a post-constitutional era. We live in a powerful nation that’s in a steep economic and moral decline. We live in a country where most Americans believe their kids won’t have it as good as they do. We live in a country that is spending money at an unsustainable rate, headed for a debt-driven economic collapse and no one is doing anything of significance about it.

In other words, this is one of the most dangerous times in our nation’s history.

Meanwhile, since the vast majority of Republicans in Congress have been indifferent, out of touch and unwilling to fight for the people who put them in office, many conservatives have given up on them. If they had a slogan, it would be, “If You Want More Than Talk, We’re Not Whom You Want.”

Worse yet, the Left is run by people who wouldn’t be acting much differently if their stated goal is to destroy the country.

Look at some of the most prominent people opposing Trump.

Hillary Clinton is a decrepit, hopelessly corrupt socialist crone who declared that Republicans were her enemies and was essentially treated as “Above the Law” by James Comey.

Speaking of James Comey, he leaked information to the press in hopes of getting a special prosecutor appointed. He’s lauded as some kind of moral paragon in D.C., but he’s proven himself to be a man without honor.

Then there’s Robert Mueller, the Special Prosecutor who was appointed to investigate Trump. He’s been heavily stocking his staff with Democrat donors, which tells you a lot about how real the supposed “integrity” that people keep harping on happens to be.

Speaking of leaking, liberals in the Deep State who hate Trump have shown they’re willing to damage national security to try to hurt him.

Over and over again, we’ve seen celebrities like Sarah Silverman, Joss Whedon, Snoop Dogg, Madonna and Johnny Depp encourage violence with nothing but support from the Left. The one exception was aging comedian Kathy Griffin. She walked out carrying a realistic mock-up of Donald Trump’s severed, bloody head and then claimed she was the real victim after Trump and his family complained about her ISIS-imitating stunt. Her only real crime in liberals’ eyes was to go so far over the top that conservatives were able to effectively use her attack against them. If not for that, they would have supported her, too.

Linda Sarsour helped run the large Day Without A Woman Protest. Just this week at a Muslim conference, she called for “Jihad” against Trump and encouraged Muslims not to assimilate.

The Fascist Left-Wing Antifa group, which has been listed as a terrorist organization by New Jersey, has engaged in anti-Trump violence and rioting.

After Trump tweeted out a funny, but childish GIF mocking CNN, not only did CNN accuse him of encouraging violence against it, which is silly, CNN tracked down the maker of the GIF and BLACKMAILED HIM. This is an actual excerpt from the CNN article.

CNN is not publishing "HanA**holeSolo's" name because he is a private citizen who has issued an extensive statement of apology, showed his remorse by saying he has taken down all his offending posts, and because he said he is not going to repeat this ugly behavior on social media again. In addition, he said his statement could serve as an example to others not to do the same.

CNN reserves the right to publish his identity should any of that change.

The mainstream media has disposed of all pretenses of impartiality to attack Trump non-stop; Trump supporters have been violently assaulted while the media shrugs it off; we’ve even had a congressman shot at a softball game by an angry, Trump-hating liberal who probably would have been given a job teaching at a university one day if he had lived and ever got out of prison.

The Republican Party is run by spiritless do-nothings who don’t care about anything other than their cushy jobs and taking care of the fat cats who pour money into their campaigns. The Democrats are run by malicious liberals who’ve never met a stupid idea that they don’t like. Meanwhile, the country is teetering on the verge of disaster.

Donald Trump didn’t create this reality and the fact that he doesn’t seem to fit in is a plus to a lot of people, rather than a minus. There are plenty of reasons to criticize Trump and people should do exactly that when he deserves it. However, it’s time to take off the blinders. Trump has been surprisingly good on foreign policy and has done more good than bad on the domestic side. Don’t sell your soul to defend anything you find indefensible, but as Donald Rumsfeld once said, “You go to war with the army you have---not the army you might want or wish to have at a later time.” Trump is the army we have and it’s time to support the troops instead of pretending that they’re worse than the people they’re fighting.
