Morality is an essential aspect of having a stellar reputation and trustworthy character. There are people in society that are openly immoral, and others who hide their depravity. Any value system based on power and not religious moral grounds is doomed. Last week showed that the left lacks a moral compass. They have attacked a successful judge chosen for the nation’s highest court. The only thing he is guilty of is having values, standards, and religion.
The last two weeks have been a circus in Washington D.C. Democrats have launched an all-out attack on President Trump’s Supreme Court nomination, D.C. Circuit Court Judge Brett Kavanaugh. Two weeks ago, the Washington Post released a story that said Kavanaugh sexually assaulted a teenage girl when he was 17 years old. Last Thursday, the accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, testified to the attack in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee. After Ford testified, an independent party, Rachel Mitchell, an Arizona veteran sex crimes prosecutor, questioned Ford, but the country still has questions as more inconsistencies came up after her testimony.
The Democratic Party has a hard time admitting that morals do not matter to them. For example, they have gathered up a posse to rip Kavanaugh’s life apart based on a 36-year-old accusation where no one, literally nobody, can corroborate what Ford is saying, even her own witnesses. On the flip side, Democrat Keith Ellison, who is running for attorney general in Minnesota is accused of physically, verbally, emotionally and mentally abusing his ex-girlfriend no more than a year ago. The left’s response is pure silence.
It has been approximately two weeks since the Kavanaugh assault began. At first, the country was riveted, trying to determine the truth. After more accusers came forward, questions of doubt. How could this judge go through six different FBI background checks and pass? It's not feasible.
Stormy Daniels’ attorney, Michael Avenatti, an avid Trump despiser, could not help himself and found another accuser, Julie Swetnick, that has derailed the coordinated attack by the left, making them lose credibility. Now, the media and Democratic politicians are trying to get rid of him, but they created the clown and had to deal with his side shows now. After an interview with NBC, Swetnick lost credibility.
Politics is dirty. There are lies, attacks, and distractions on a daily basis. One could argue that politicians, especially seasoned ones, are the masters of human chess. Unfortunately, they use the country as their board and voters as pawns. Does morality fit within politics? Not really. Should it? Absolutely, but that is not reality and we must deal with it.
Harry Reid lied about Mitt Romney during the 2012 election cycle. He said that Romney had not paid his taxes in a decade. By the time Romney was able to prove Reid wrong, it was too late. When Reid got questioned about his untruthfulness, he said,” it worked didn’t it?” It’s immoral to lie, but Reid did not care, and Obama won reelection.
As the left seeks to gain more control over Americans via healthcare, illegal immigration encouragement and crippling the economy, the use of citizens to gain power and control is the definition of abuse of power. They have included an assault on a choir boy in Judge Kavanaugh.
The left is using one of the vilest, if not the most offensive, crime to stop the Supreme Court nomination for their political purposes of gaining power. Regardless of the political side, no party should ever trivialize sexual assault like the Democratic Party has done the last two weeks. It takes an immoral person to accuse someone of such an offense when there is no way to gather evidence to prove the accusations truthful, then to subvert Due Process by declaring guilt before a hearing. Where is the morality in these actions?
Since the left fervently upholds infanticide, boys in girl’s locker rooms, and Che Guevara, it is easy to believe the morality bank account is low on funds, but the last two weeks have proven how bankrupt leftism ideology is.
