President Joe Biden has destroyed more than our country’s economy and border security in thirty-three months in office. He has also compromised our national security, placing the world in grave peril.

As President Donald Trump has stated many times, “We are closer to World War III than we've ever been.” With Biden as President, the world has become a much more dangerous place. While China escalates their militaristic threats against Taiwan, Russia continues with its invasion of Ukraine, which may continue for years.

The latest war was launched by the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas into southern Israel on the Jewish holiday of Shemini Atzeret. The latest reports indicate that at least 700 people have died, scores of Israeli citizens and military personnel were taken hostage and more than 2,200 are injured.

Hamas attacked by land, sea, and air, with armed terrorists using paragliders to cross into the country. According to Israeli defense officials, at least 2,500 rockets were fired by Hamas. According to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel is now “at war" for the first time since 1973.

This horrific war happened one month after Biden released five Iranian prisoners in exchange for five American prisoners. The deal also included the release of $6 billion in previously frozen funds to the Iranian regime.

While the money is supposedly reserved for “humanitarian” purposes, it is ludicrous to believe that the Iranians will follow such limitations. In fact, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi told NBC News that the funds will be used “wherever we need it” and “the Islamic Republic of Iran will decide what to do with this money.”

Even if the $6 billion transfer can be limited to “humanitarian” purposes, it will allow the regime to dedicate other resources to terrorism. Iran has always been the largest benefactor for Hamas, contributing 70% of the terrorist group’s overall financing.

According to a report in the Wall Street Journal, the attack on Israel was coordinated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, who gave final approval for the assault “at a meeting in Beirut last Monday.” Thus, Israel was invaded by Hamas, only due to the planning and financial support provided by Iran.

During the Trump administration, Iran was under constant pressure. Our country withdrew from the absurd nuclear deal known as the “Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.” He placed significant sanctions on their oil exports, limiting the funds that could be used for terrorism. Trump also ordered the military strike that killed Major General Qassim Suleimani, the leader of Iran’s powerful Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps.

The New York Times described Suleimani as “the architect of nearly every significant operation by Iranian intelligence and military forces over the past two decades.” His death was considered a “staggering blow” to the Iranian regime.

Unfortunately, this pressure was not continued by the Biden administration. Almost immediately after Biden became President, talks resumed with Iran about rejoining the “nuclear deal.” In addition, Bloomberg News reported that Biden administration officials admitted that the “enforcement of sanctions on Iranian oil sales” were “relaxed.”  This resulted in a significant increase in oil sales and additional revenue for the regime of as much as “$29.5 billion.”

Thanks to Biden, Iran was flush with cash. The world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism undoubtedly used this windfall to continue pursuing nuclear weapons development and to sponsor terrorist groups such as Hamas.

With Joe Biden as President, there is war in Ukraine, war in Israel, and a potential war in Taiwan in the coming months. From the first day of his administration, Biden has exhibited weakness, which invites war. This is the lesson the world should have learned from British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain in 1938.

In contrast, peace is accomplished through strength. The world witnessed this philosophy in action during the administration of President Ronald Reagan. His policies helped bring down the “evil empire.” The result was that 400 million people were freed without a shot being fired.

President Donald Trump adopted similar “peace through strength” policies during his administration. Under President Trump, the United States did not enter any new wars.

He strengthened our military, while maintaining lines of communication with our adversaries. Thus, he conducted summits with the dictator of North Korea, Kim Jong Un. As a result, North Korea’s belligerent behavior was curtailed.

He also met with Russian President Vladimir Putin and believed it was important to have good relations with the country that possessed the most nuclear weapons in the world.

Prior to Trump’s term in office, Russia invaded Crimea. After Trump left office, Russia invaded Ukraine. While Trump was President, Russia did not invade any countries.

While Trump was President, China was not terrorizing Taiwan. In fact, he imposed significant sanctions on China and began the process of returning manufacturing and jobs to our country. He was the first President in modern American history to take a firm stance toward the Chinese communists.

In the Middle East, Trump accomplished a miracle, the Abraham Accords, which involved a series of treaties establishing diplomatic relations between Israel and four Arab countries: Morocco, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and Sudan. This should have resulted in Trump winning the Nobel Peace Prize, but, alas, he was overlooked by the same organization that bestowed the award on Barack Obama for doing nothing.

There was peace throughout the world while Trump was President because dictators and terrorists respect strength. Enemies of peace are reluctant to advance their acts of violence while a strong American President is in power.

Sadly, it all changed when the feeble Joe Biden became President. Today, the United States has an open border and a depleted military, which is running low on ammunition and basic equipment and is unable to meet recruitment goals.

As an incompetent President leads the United States, war is raging in Israel for the first time in fifty years and the world is spiraling out of control.
