Remember when Kellyanne Conway was accused by Democrats of engaging in politics in the White House? I know that sounds stupid, but they did it regularly. Being surprised that politics was happening in the White House, especially when the Trump administration was constantly under assault with lies from Democrats and the media, surprised no one. That none of those people who’d spent the Trump years clutching their pearls to the point they’ve fused to their hand the way a morbidly obese person who hasn’t walked in a decade grows into a couch care now is not a surprise. They hope you forget what they did and said back then. But we are Pepperidge Farms: we remember.
“Presidential adviser Kellyanne Conway has repeatedly criticized Democratic candidates in her official capacity in violation of the Hatch Act and should lose her job, according to the U.S. Office of Special Counsel,” a National Public Radio “news” story from 2019 opens. What did she do? “In March 2018, the ethics agency found Conway broke the law twice in interviews about the Alabama Senate race. The new report focuses on her commentary on Democratic presidential candidates. It cites examples of her rhetoric, including suggesting Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey was ‘sexist’ and alleging that former Vice President Joe Biden was unwilling to be ‘held to account for his record.’
How did the republic survive?
Axios reports, “President Biden's not-yet-official bid for re-election will lean on hundreds of social media "influencers" who will tout Biden's record — and soon may have their own briefing room at the White House.” Moreover, “Four Biden digital staffers are focused on influencers and independent content creators. The staffers officially work for the White House, not Biden's campaign — but reaching young and suburban voters is clearly a priority.”
I guess the Hatch Act was repealed somewhere along the line, or it simply doesn’t apply to Democrats.

If this weren’t clear enough just how political this is, and how important to Joe’s reelection bid, “A measure of the importance Team Biden is placing on its digital strategy: Rob Flaherty, who leads the effort, has been named assistant to the president — the same rank as the White House communications director and press secretary.”
Not an even casual mention of the Hatch Act in the story, because when you’re 10 feet tall and bulletproof, you’re 10 feet tall and bulletproof.
Meanwhile, noted legal scholar Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is running around advocating for the Biden administration to ignore a court ruling on an abortion drug. The specifics don’t really matter, the concept is the problem. The Executive Branch enforces the laws of the country, or at least it is supposed to. They don’t anymore. In fact, no Democrat is for enforcing laws they don’t like anymore. Prosecutors don’t, dismissing cases regularly because they favor the perpetrators over the victims.
In the case where AOC is calling for what is essentially an insurrection by a totalitarian government against the democratic norms established by the Constitution, it is about what the left cares about more than anything: abortion.
The abortion industry funds a large part of the Democrat Party, and they provide volunteers as well. All they have to do is keep shoveling tax money to Planned Parenthood and they get a bunch of it right back in campaign cash. It’s another perfectly legal scam.
Once a federal judge ruled that the FDA had violated their own regulations to approve an abortion drug, then dragged their feet for decades to obscure that fact and circumvent the law, the left lost their mind. It doesn’t matter how much someone likes the end result, the law must be followed to get there or there’s a problem Not to Democrats – they are the ultimate “ends justifies the means” crowd.
AOC when on Anderson Cooper to discuss this case and called for the Biden administration to pull and Andrew Jackson and ignore the courts. You really only do this if you don’t have a case. But in making her argument, AOC exposed just how dumb she is. See if you can make sense of this bit from CNN’s transcript.
“Well, you know, I think rulings like this, and I think we've seen from the FDA and also from activity in Congress that some of these rulings, I think we've been preparing and anticipating for there being these egregious overreaches by members of the judiciary appointed by a right-wing Republican Party, whose goal for a very long time was to just pack these Courts with partisan Judges often under qualified or completely unqualified for the for their role,” AOC started in a ramble. “And so there has been thought I believe given to this. Senator Ron Wyden has already issued statements, for example, advising what we should do in situations like this, which I concur, which is that I believe that the Biden administration should ignore this ruling. I think that we, you know, the Courts have the legitimacy, and they rely on the legitimacy of their rulings. And what they are currently doing is engaged in an unprecedented and dramatic erosion of the legitimacy of the Courts. It is the Justices themselves through the deeply partisan and unfounded nature of these rulings that are undermining their own enforcement.”
She’s the intellectual leader of the Democrats, calling for a gutting of Judicial Branch of government because she doesn’t like the ruling, and she couldn’t explain it if her life depended on it.
This moron cheered each and every nationwide injunction against the Trump administration, but now wants to destroy the separation of powers because she might have to find a different method of birth control for a little while?
Democrats don’t have double standards; they have no standards, at least for themselves. They do want to hold others to rules and laws, but they blindly walk through life thinking they’re somehow the heroes in the “fight for democracy.” It’s a level of evil or stupidity (or both) that people with a functioning brain or a shred of human decency would feel uncomfortable about…they remain unconcerned.
