Liberals are waking up, at least a little, to the reality that their perversion of life is not resonating with anyone other than the few nuts who already agree with them. It has to be a difficult realization – knowing what you firmly wish were true is not – but the destruction being done to the Democrat Party is nothing compared to the destruction to the children who are their victims, so who cares?
I’m talking about the trans-phenomenon sweeping left-wing enclaves of the country. As hard as it is to believe, there are areas of the country where simply having a child isn’t enough for some parents, they need their kid to be more; to mean more. They want a bi-pedal virtue signal more than they ever wanted a kid, craving something they were not able to achieve on their own.
Whatever that hole in their soul is, using a child to fill it is pretty sick. I’m all for parents supporting their children, I oppose parents ceding parental authority and responsibility to their kids because they want to be the “cool” family at the next neighborhood tofu cookout.
How can I say that? Pretty simply, actually. The increase by multiple times of “trans” kids is the biggest, and really only factor that matters. It would take a special kind of stupid to believe that suddenly, once “trans” became trendy, one-fifth of the next generation felt “free” enough to “live as their true selves.”
Even if you want to believe that number is somehow based in reality, where are all the older people now, living in that same period, engaging in the same declarations? If the amount of trans people is a constant, and it’s never been a better or trendier time to be trans, then the bizarre increase in numbers should span all generations, at least somewhat. It isn’t.

This is a “trend” of the young. Was there something added to the water? No. But there was something added to the culture, and children are the most susceptible to the pollution that is our culture these days.
Honestly, I couldn’t care less how someone else chooses to live their life; they have to justify their existence to themselves and God, not to me. And Bruce Jenner wants me to call him Caitlyn I will, out of respect. I’ll call people whatever they want to be called (except Bradley Manning, who I will only show as much respect as he showed the military secrets he was entrusted with). But I’ll most likely just avoid any circumstance in which I’d interact with Caitlyn because I’m not interested in make believe or people who require it to function.
I’m very libertarian when it comes to such things, in that I adopt a “I’ll leave you alone if you leave me alone” attitude.
The problem for the political left is they can’t leave anyone alone. They aren’t happy if they aren’t demanding someone do something or act in a certain way and using the power of government, or at least the threat of a mob, to enforce it.
With the LGBTQRSTUVWXYZ Mafia and their masters in the Democrat Party, there are no grey areas, absolutism is the only way their control works. You have to convince people they’re victims of something and you’re their only hope for protection. It’s pretty evil, really, but it works, especially on people desperately seeking external validation for their existence and/or absolution for their own failures.
The general public – the rest of the country not “sophisticated” enough to get the invites to those tofu cookouts – aren’t buying it. Not only that, we are actively recoiling that ideas like chemically castrating children and permanently altering their physical being through surgery are being done anywhere, let alone celebrated as “progressive.”
Normal people recognize the power something seeming “cool” can have over kids, each of us having been kids at one point and having fallen victim to any number of stupid trends at the time. While it’s a far cry from a mohawk or nose ring to genital mutilation, the concept is the same. Add to that the reality of kids dealing with peer pressure, the confusion of puberty and the higher rate of depression that goes with it as you figure out who the hell you are, and you’ve got the perfect petri dish for damn near anything. All you need is people in positions of authority with the willingness to exploit this reality for their own advantage. That is exactly who Democrats are, isn’t it?
