If you were raised correctly, you were told to apologize when you did something wrong, and you did it because your parents were right. Well, now they’re wrong. OK, they’re not completely wrong. If you do something that falls into the category of normal human error or regret, something for which you feel genuinely sorry for, by all means apologize to the person you’ve wronged. But if you do or say anything that the goon squad of fascists running the political left these days deems unacceptable, look them square in their vacant eyes and tell them to go straight to hell.
It used to be that apologies were accepted and, with rare exceptions, everyone moved on afterwards. Not anymore. There is no benefit to apologizing, even if you feel that what you did was wrong. If you are not of the left, or even if you are but “sinned” by disagreeing with leftist orthodoxy on one particular issue, your apology will not be accepted, no matter how sincere. Don’t offer one.
Joe Rogan is learning this the hard way. He did nothing wrong, but because he existed wrong for a brief period he is now a walking bullseye. Even the White House has gone after him. All he did was have a conversation—it was just a conversation Democrats don’t want to allow people to have. It was expressing thoughts Democrats don’t want to allow people to have. Most importantly, and more offending to the left, he asked questions.
Questions are not allowed, only obedience is acceptable. Rogan is, for the most part, a man of the left, at least to any extent he expresses political beliefs. But he’s not an activist, he’s a comedian who smokes a lot of weed while having long, sometimes interesting conversations with other comedians, MMA fighters, or any random person from any aspect of life.
There is no criteria for being a guest on the show, which is the real problem the left has with it. Rogan reportedly gets almost 200 million downloads per month, progressive Democrats hate that he has guests of all political persuasions, especially conservatives. I’ve never watched or listened to a whole episode, I’ve only seen clips on social media, but the clips are good. I can’t vouch for the other 2 hours and 50 minutes of the show.

But those short clips that go viral are enough, completely out of context, to set off the left and demand Rogan’s head.
It has nothing to do with COVID, no matter what the media and mob claim. It has everything to do with how Rogan has guests on that the left don’t want him to have on; people they don’t want heard by his large, young audience. The COVID “misinformation” garbage is just cover because they can’t say they want him to stop having on guests they don’t like. They’d rather destroy him, it’s cleaner.
So when Rogan apologized, or attempted to pander and explain himself in a fit of weakness, the left had already won. Every left-wing “news” outlet is on board with getting Rogan kicked off Spotify. Those same outlets, hilariously, have rallied to the defense of Whoopi Goldberg for her offensive and stupid “the Holocaust had nothing to do with race” comments, comments she repeated and insisted upon. Morning Joe even offered up a “LEAVE WHOOPI ALONE!” segment the day after cheering has-been musicians for pulling their music from Spotify to hurt Rogan.
In an ideal world, no one would get fired for saying something dumb or offensive, we’d all be adults and get over it, accepting apologies. We don’t live in that world, we live in the cancel culture world the political left created and littered with the scalps of everyone from celebrities to random people on Twitter. Add Whoopi’s for all I care.
The only way this ends is when they are forced to live under the standards they force everyone else to live under, and the only way to do that is to inflict damage on their team.
Joe Rogan shouldn’t have apologized because he did nothing wrong. Moreover, it only chums the waters for more leftists to come in and try to finish the job. No one has ever apologized their way out of that feeding frenzy, stop trying.
And to the conservatives who are preaching grace for Whoopi, it’s a great concept but you’re why we lose. All the high road does is give you a great view of your defeat. Leftists have to be made to feel the pain they inflict on others. It won’t be complete with Whoopi (she won’t be fired anyway), it won’t be complete with any one particular person, it only stands a chance to end with a cumulative effect of lots of people, period.
That’s not ideal, but we don’t live in an ideal world. We live in a world where liberal mobs are keeping law schools pure of thought, where news outlets are pure of thought and free from dissent, where movies and TV shows are made or not based not on whether they’re any good but the skin color of the cast. The left is creating an America that is anti-American. There is no compromise with that. The only solution is to force them to take a huge dose of their own medicine. That it’s a giant, spikey suppository is their own damn fault. You made, you take it. And I’m not sorry.
