There really isn’t anything the political left won’t try to exploit for cash. A school shooting somewhere is usually followed up by an email from some Democrat insisting they can prevent the next one if you’d just give them some of your hard-earned money. No matter what the issue is, no matter how tasteless it would be to use it, a Democrat will use it if that means a couple more dollars for them. The same goes for stupid, because if it weren’t for stupid, Democrats not only wouldn’t exist, they’d also be broke.
The Democratic Strategy Institute, a left-wing grifter group that milks money from unsuspecting leftists with IQs roughly that of their shoe size, decided to try to inspire full panic mode from their list of dimwitted wallets. They also exposed just how far from a “news” organization MSNBC, and by extension NBC News, has gotten.
With the subject line, “MSNBC CANCELLED?!!?” (yes, they regularly used caps lock and the punctuation of an excited teenage girl), they insist, “We hate to say it but MSNBC might be on its last leg.”
While that would be nice, and good for the country, Comcast simply doesn’t like this country enough to do that or even rein in that rabid anti-Americanism their network deploys in an attempt to rip the country apart. And since Comcast owns MSNBC and NBC News, no such change will be forthcoming.
It says something about MSNBC that a radical left-wing group feels comfortable using them to raise money, it says even more that MSNBC doesn’t vocally condemn that group using them.
But the Democratic Strategy Institute has MSNBC’s back, or so they want their followers to think. “Through the lowest lows of the Trump Administration to the highest highs of the Biden Administration, MSNBC was always a shining light of TRUTH!” the email states. “Meanwhile, Fox News spews lies about COVID-19, the January 6 Insurrection, and more!!! But for some reason, their ratings are SOARING above MSNBC!?”
At this point in their email, it takes a turn for the absurdly stupid. The next line is, “And if their skyrocketing ratings continue, they could force MSNBC off the air. THAT WOULD BE A NIGHTMARE!!”
Putting aside how Fox’s ratings could be a NIGHTMARE for MSNBC but the last 2 decades of dominance weren’t, how does the ratings of Fox, or any other network, impact whether or not MSNBC stays on the air? CNN routinely loses to reruns of test patterns and there’s no risk of them going anywhere.
The finis their email with, “So Derek, we need to know if you are still watching MSNBC. With [45] more Washington responses we’ll SAVE MSNBC.” How, they never explain. Of course, there is no rational explanation, this email is probably the dumbest I’ve ever received from this group, by a lot, but they’re all pretty dumb in their own way.
Still, when you click on the link to take their “survey,” it gets even dumber.
After asking whether you watch various shows on MSNBC, they ask, “Would you make a small sacrifice if it meant protecting the free press and defending Joe Biden against right-wing attacks?” The only answer they list is “yes.”
Then, after making the entire email and “survey” about MSNBC and protecting it from some weird cancel monster they don’t explain but somehow tie to the ratings at Fox News, they shift gears dramatically without ever mentioning MSNBC again.
“Our work is far from over,” the final “question” starts. “The only way to crush the Republican Party once and for all is to elect even more Democrats. Here at the Democratic Strategy Institute, we're dedicated to training and electing Democratic candidates from coast to coast, up and down the ballot. And this year, we're committed to holding 365 Democratic trainings -- one per day!! So we need every good Democrat reading this to donate $3 so we can elect Democrats in the future and RUIN every last one of Trump's Republicans in 2022!!”
What happened to saving MSNBC?
How does this stuff work on anyone? How dumb do you have to be for it to work on you, and how can someone that stupid have a bank account, let alone a job providing them with income so they have anything in it?
There is nothing Democrats won’t use to raise money, and there are enough Democrats with at least some money dumb enough to keep all these places and candidates flush with cash. They deserve each other. If only they were contained there…
