Climate change has officially jumped the shark. It has gone from being a cliché, platitude, banality to beyond ridiculous. Everything is climate change and vice-versa.
The shark jumping moment occurred when President Biden celebrated Earth Day 2021 with one of the most incoherent and inane rants on the topic in human history.
Here are just a few of the absurd comments from Biden’s climate change blusterous tirade.
“When people talk about climate, I think jobs. Within our climate response lies an extraordinary engine of job creation and economic opportunity ready to be fired up. That’s why I’ve proposed a huge investment in American infrastructure and American innovation to tap the economic opportunity that climate change presents our workers and our communities, especially those too often that have — left out and left behind.”
This is total malarkey, in Biden’s lexicon. Biden has eliminated tens of thousands of good-paying jobs in his first three months in office because he wrongly claims these jobs (like the Keystone XL pipeline) would contribute to so-called climate change.
Biden has left tens of thousands of Americans jobless yet has the sheer audacity to claim that his “infrastructure” plan would somehow help these workers. Give me a break.
“I’d like to buil- — I want to build a — a critical infrastructure to produce and deploy clean technology — both those we can harness today and those that we’ll invent tomorrow.” This makes no sense, literally.
“The United States isn’t waiting. We are resolving to take action — not only the — our federal government, but our cities and our states all across our country; small businesses, large businesses, large corporations; American workers in every field.”

Sorry Joe, but according to multiple polls, the people of the United States do not think climate change is an existential threat. We are more than fine “waiting.”
“I see farmers deploying cutting-edge tools to make soil of our — of our Heartland the next frontier in carbon innovation.” What does that even mean? Does American soil now contribute to climate change?
“You know, those that do take action and make bold investments in their people and clean energy future will win the good jobs of tomorrow, and make their economies more resilient and more competitive.”
This is utter nonsense. China and India are not on-board with Biden’s insane plan to return America to the stone age. In fact, China is building several new coal-fired power plants because it wants to be more competitive.
Yes, Joe, economic competitiveness in the 21st century global economy is partly predicated on affordable and abundant energy. And solar and wind power is neither affordable nor abundant.
“So let’s run that race; win more — win more sustainable future than we have now; overcome the existential crisis of our times. We know just how critically important that is because scientists tell us that this is the decisive decade. This is the decade we must make decisions that will avoid the worst consequences of a climate crisis.”
Wait a minute, for decades, the global warming/climate change alarmists have been saying this same thing yet we have not seen their apocalyptic nightmares come to pass at all.
“We have to move. We have to move quickly to meet these challenges. … If we do, we’ll breathe easier, literally and figuratively; we’ll create good jobs here at home for millions of Americans; and lay a strong foundation for growth for the future. And — and that — that can be your goal as well. This is a moral imperative, an economic imperative, a moment of peril but also a moment of extraordinary possibilities.”
Almost every word of that is false.
However, leave it to Biden to spew a bunch of falsehoods and then attempt to take the moral high ground. That is precisely what climate change zealots do.
Happy Earth Day, America!
