Where can I get free or low-cost care in my community?

This greeted visitors to www.healthcare.gov from June 26 to September 15, designed to inform Americans about the new healthcare law. The problem with the statement above is that there isn't supposed to be any "free" care, and the law isn't tailored to be different in different communities. This is the kind of propaganda that has largely failed to move the needle of acceptance of the new law that has been a series of mishaps that belie the hype and promises.

Still, this is only the beginning of the hype machine that will go into overdrive as paid navigators go door to door with barely more knowledge than the average person to promote the program and enroll new voters. They'll know platinum, gold, silver, and bronze are plans, but these professional community organizers will have one single mission.

Make people like this program and get them to vote Democrat.

October Surprise
Since the Nixon administration, we've become accustomed to the so-called October Surprise, something out of Washington DC that shocks everyone, often moving the political axis. There really is a perfect backdrop for such a surprise this month with the start of new healthcare exchanges that are a long way from even being ready to handle traffic. The good news is there are no long lines of people looking to jump on this bandwagon because the wheels have been coming off from since inception.

I just don't think today will see the kind of pent-up demand and bum's rush that greeted the new Grand Theft Auto 5, iPhone 5 and last episode of Breaking Bad.

October is also a big month in the history of communism and was promoted heavily in Soviet propaganda that aimed to take the revolution around the world. As the nation inches closer to making Nikita Khrushchev's prediction a reality-the victory of communism in America without firing a shot-the only surprise could be how long it takes to turn make the original intent of Obamacare into a reality. I'm talking a single-payer system.
